Hi, I'm Sam

I build AI agents, automation, and managed websites for Australian service businesses - designed and operated from Adelaide.

15+ years running customer ops for tech platforms, the last two shipping AI into production. Now running Samwise Studio from a home office - hands-on end to end, no account managers. The same person you brief scopes, builds, and ships the work.

How I work

More than a freelancer, less than an agency. One point of contact, end to end - no hand-offs to a junior, no account manager between you and the work.

Your work is yours. Website code lives in Git, your domain stays in your name, and any agents I build run on infrastructure you can take with you. No proprietary builders, no hostage situations.

Honest scope, quoted up-front. Every engagement starts with a conversation and ends with a written quote - no surprise invoices, no scope creep.

What I do

Support & CX Ops

15+ years of support and CX leadership - team-building, SLAs, QA frameworks, escalation design, incident comms, and VoC programs that feed product.

AI & Agents

Production agents across multiple frameworks. RAG pipelines, MCP tool use, human-in-the-loop gates, and the agent framework that runs Samwise itself.

GTM Engineering

ICP-driven enrichment, outbound personalisation, and pipelines that hand off cleanly to humans instead of spraying and praying.

Automation

The connective tissue between systems - cron schedules, integrations, and AI calls, built in code where it matters and no-code where it doesn't.

How it all connects

An interactive map of the work, the practice areas behind it, and the stack I reach for. Drag a node, or tap one for the detail.

For developers and recruiters

Prefer to read the source?

There's a developer cut of this page - the same bio, projects, and stack rendered as a working IDE, built from scratch. If you're hiring or just curious how I build, that's the better look.

Tell me what you're trying to fix

Quick conversation, honest take on what would help, written quote if it's a fit. Zero pressure.
